DET HÄR ÄR VI Sedan 1992 har familjeföretaget funnits på Nybrogatan 57.

Konceptet är många olika sorters korvar av högre kvalitet, grillade efter beställning som sedan serveras i franskt bröd med hemliga, hemmagjorda såser och surkål.

Det har visats sig bli väldigt uppskattat av väldigt många.

Genom åren som gått har vi fått en hel del uppmärksamhet av tidningar, tv och radio.

Bland annat har Mat-Tina varit på besök och gjort ett reportage, BBC i England, Gyllandsposten från Danmark och vi har även blivit rekommenderade i turistböcker, ”100 under 100” och i boken ”Where chefs eat” mm.

On my first day in Stockholm, I quickly learned the café culture is huge part of life for people living in the city.

I was delighted to find out they served a fabulous filter coffee, something that is very popular in Stockholm and nearly impossible to find in London and Paris.

They have a menu that changes seasonally and includes things like fennel soup, club sandwiches, avocado on grilled toast and dozens of sweets from pastries and tarts to cakes and biscuits.

First things first, I had to get one of my favourite pastries – Swedish Cardamom Buns, known here as kardemummabullar.

Like most pastries in Sweden, they are not overly sweet, but just sweet enough.

Much like most big cities here in the U.S., the streets of Stockholm are littered with stands selling their version of the hot dog.

They call them "French hot dogs" or korv (from korvar, the Swedish word for "sausage"), and it is essentially a sausage stuffed into a French bread roll.

Most stands in the city serve a generic-looking hot dog version, but for a real homemade sandwich, there's only one korv stand to visit—Östermalms Korvspecialist.

Known to locals as Bruno's, Östermalms Korvspecialist has been serving up its sausage sandwiches for more than 40 years, just a few blocks away from Östermalms Saluhall, Stockholm's indoor food market that's more than 100 years old.
