The main course came in 5 minutes after the appetizer (which we shared on, but still had not had time to eat up) which meant that man sat with a full glass (prosecco in my case) to a pasta dish you might actually want to run wine.
In other words, one can now not only eat three courses of 1 h at fast food restaurants-but also on tutto bello.

Man fick mer eller mindre ställa sig upp för att få uppmärksamhet, vilket innebar att mitt glas var tomt under nästan hela middagen.
Vilket leder in på en annan del - middagen gick alldeles för fort.
Huvudrätten kom in 5 minuter efter förrätten (som vi delade på, men fortfarande inte hade hunnit äta upp) vilket innebar att man satt med ett fullt glas (prosecco i mitt fall) till en pastarätt man kanske egentligen ville ha vin till.

As with many Swedes that I have come to know, we (my husband and I) tend to eat out for lunch rather than dinner in Stockholm as it is much better for those purse strings (!)
Their dagens (daily) lunch menu varies but expect a choice of different pizzas and pastas, with a risotto and salad option as well (a sample menu is shown on the photo below).
I am a fan of Swedish pizza (although a thin crust isn’t for everybody) so my husband and I both opted for two of the different pizza options – my vegetarian pizza was loaded with many fresh flavours of rocket, ricotta cheese and fresh cherry tomatoes – just the perfect amount of topping.
My husband, who is dairy intolerant, opted for a cheese-free pizza over the dairy- free pasta option and he commented that it may have been the best he has ever tasted in Stockholm – and he was born in Stockholm so he’s had his fair share of pizzas during his life here!
