Frick & Son

Rare Rhône grape varieties and unusual blends.
At the small winery hidden away on a country road Bill Frick works alone to create complex small batch wines with honest character of the place and grape.
Frick wines grow on steep, sunbaked hillsides in the Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County, California.
The terroir of Sonoma sunshine, Dry Creek Valley fog and rocky soil is in every delicious bottle of Frick wine.

food menu
What makes the Cafe at the Frick so great is not its leafy green surroundings on the Frick Museum estate.
It’s really all about the gingerbread-house quality of the place, which is tiny with a handful of tables, and opens only for lunch except on Fridays when dinner is served.
The menu here isn’t a laundry list of unseasonable, trucked-in frozen foods; some days, the chefs roll out fresh gramagnia pasta with snow peas, pickled carrots, and parmesan.
Other weeks, the menu reads light with a selection of soups, salads, and sandwiches, which is good for a quick bite in between visits to the Museum and Clayton House.
Check out their website for recipe archives and advance Friday evening dinner menus.
